Medically Complex Program

Compassionate care for complex needs

SSM Health Day Institute offers a specialized program for individuals recovering from medically complex conditions covering a broad range of diagnoses that require prolonged hospitalization. If you have suffered from complicated medical conditions and need recovery time to build strength, stamina and improve overall health, our comprehensive approach to treatment addresses a wide range of physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, social and psychological challenges and self-care issues.

You will benefit from the combined knowledge and intervention of physical, occupational and/or speech therapies. Depending on your unique needs and goals, our team can assist with the coordination of assistive equipment and technologies, orthotic services and vocational rehabilitation services. The treatment team works closely with you to establish realistic goals and an individualized treatment plan.
