Immediate pain relief so you can enjoy life again
Dry needling is an alternative treatment option for pain relief and improved muscle movement. Also known as trigger point dry needling or intramuscular manual therapy, the treatment uses a dry needle — a needle without medicine — to deactivate trigger points in your muscle.
Increase strength and reduce joint stress with low intensity exercise
Personalized blood flow restriction (PBFR) training is a form of rehabilitation that helps increase muscle strength, improve cardiovascular capacity and decrease stress on your joints. A cuff is placed around your limb during strength training and aerobic conditioning exercises. The cuff is attached to a compression pump (similar to a blood pressure cuff) that causes it to inflate, keeping the blood in your muscle and temporarily preventing its flow from the area.
Pain relief for muscles and soft tissue
Our therapists provide a manual therapy technique called cupping to treat muscle and soft tissue dysfunction. Silicone cups are gently applied to affected areas and guided along the skin. Cupping helps to decrease inflammation, muscle spasms and pain as well as improve blood and oxygen circulation and range of motion.
Effective treatment for muscle, ligament and tendon injuries
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) works like a standard massage, but specialized instruments are used in place of a physical therapist’s hands. These instruments allow more direct treatment of the soft tissues involved with movement.
