Aquatic Therapy

  • Aquatic therapy incorporates the properties of water’s buoyancy to provide a safe environment for exercises to improve movement, strength and function.  The warm water reduces stress on joints to make movement and exercises easier and less painful. The use of water allows you to exercises at levels that are not possible outside the water, which helps you to get better faster. The ultimate goal of aquatic therapy is to progress you to a more functional, land-based program.
